"Welcome Aboard"

The flag pole is at the beginning of OYC's Riverside Property. It's there to welcome members and guests to the Club.

Oconto Yacht Club

Season Start Time

The Oconto Yacht Club is located on approximately 8 acres. This property contains many trees, and most of the area is a park like setting. Each slip has a generous "Green Space" with picnic tables close by. OYC members pride themselves in the clubs appearance and most have flower/vegetable gardens by their slips. The club has slips on the River and the Lagoon sections. Each slip has parking in front, or near it, and there is plenty of parking for guests.

Fall Time

Fall colors are great at OYC. Unfortunately it spells the end of another boating season. OYC members spend time together and enjoy the group grill-outs, and trips to the Islands, marinas, and events on the Bay.

Winter Time

This is the club with all the vessels in winter storage. If you are going to store on blocks and jacks you can schedule a haul-out with one of the four members who operate the lift. There are always members around to help. Normally most pull their boats the weekend before the Fall Work Party. At that time most power-wash the vessel, the club has a power washer if you do not. We help each other shrink wrapping our boats.

Riverside

The Riverside docks start by the flagpole and continue to the lift well area.

Riverside-2

The docks in this area enjoy nice views and normally nice breezes. These docks are very close to the clubhouse.

Riverside-3

These docks enjoy nice views, nice breezes, close to the clubhouse, and have nice shaded areas. Great area to relax, eat out, and room for kids to camp.

Riverside-4

Good view of the Riverside Dock's green space and many trees.

Riverside-5

The docks end at the lift well. The last boat in the photo is at the Gas Dock section. Beyond that you will turn starboard to enter the channel to the Lagoon Docks.

Riverside-6

This is the lift well, gas dock, pump out, fresh water stations.

Riverside-7

The Clubhouse is behind the gas dock in the center of the yard. You can see the fire pit and the clubs big grill in the photo.

Riverside-8

This is where you turn to enter the Lagoon Section. Again the big grill and part of the fire pit is seen.

Riverside-9

It's not advised to go past the entrance to the Lagoon, often the water levels in that section are low and can cause damage to your drives/props.

Riverside-10

The boats under the tree are the first two docks when you enter the Lagoon.

Riverside-11

This shows the channel from the river past the club, and the turn into the Lagoon.

Here's to good times with great friends.
