About OYC
The Oconto Yacht Club was established on December 14, 1947. We are located on the Oconto River on the Western shore of Green Bay and are a Working Club. What's a working club you ask--well we have 2 work parties a year. One is in the Spring (April) and the other in the fall (October). We do our own docks, yard maintenance, club cleaning and boat lifting which helps to keep our dues down. Everyone brings a dish to pass for lunch and we have a great lunch after working outside. The members also maintain their own slips and green space. Many have flower gardens and most have picnic tables. We enjoy impromptu lunches and evening gatherings with friends.
We have a large grill for group gatherings. The club also has a very nice fire pit on the riverside of the property. The pit is often a source of evening socializing.
The Oconto Yacht Club has a nice mix of Power boaters and Sail boaters. Our ability to keep the channel and lagoon dredged is a great aid to the sail boats.

Gasoline - We pre-buy, our members normally realize a nice savings with this method.

Pump out services - Full pump out service with attachments for any set-up.

Dockage for boats to 40 ft - Both River and Lagoon slips.

Cozy clubhouse with full personalized bar & TV - Nice couches for lounging. Fully stocked bar with seating and a nice view of the river.

Fully equipped kitchen with: Dishwasher, Stove, Oven, Microwave, Refrigerator, Freezer, Pots, Pans, Glasses, Dishes, and Silverware. It is required that you clean what you use, and leave the kitchen clean when you leave.

Restrooms with showers - Clean, well maintained facilities for your convenience.

Washer & dryer facilities - We charge a nominal fee for using them.

Our own travel lift - Normally most members pull their boats a week before the fall work party. There are usually many helping hands.

Outside winter storage - The boats are either stored in an area along the North-East side or by members slips. Members help each other cover their boats.

38 slips of varying sizes - Slips are both on the River's side and the Lagoon. There is annual bidding for open slips.

Play ground equipment - The club has a swing set and some equipment for the kids.

Pet friendly - Many members have pets and we all enjoy them. They enhance everyone's day contribute heavily to the family atmosphere here. You are required to pick up after your pet and ensure that they are sociable.

Oconto Yacht Club is unique in that we own a Crissifuli Flump Dredge with a 6 foot head which allows us to maintain our immediate waterways and dock areas.

Club Grounds - We have three RV spots at OYC for club member only use. Two are 30 amp hookup, and one with a 50 amp hook up. They all have fresh water hook ups. You have to check in the club to sign up for a time, it's first come/first serve. Any conflicts will be settled by the Board.

OYC - Our lift well has been refurbished to accomodate larger vessels.

OYC - Recently added a larger, open end travel lift. We are now able to pull or set vessels 40' in length, 14' wide, and can set sailboats with the mast up.
